FIVE WAYS TO DETER NIGHTMARES:
1 Place a stone with a hole through it beside your bed. The nightmare is believed to pass through the hole and dissipate in to thin air.
2 Before going to sleep, place a glass dish of still spring water or freshly run tap water beside your bed. Water represents emotions, and pure will purify the disturbance.
3 Collect rainwater to wash your hair after a full moon. It will neutralize negative thoughts.
4 Place three cloves of garlic beside your bed to absorb negativity. The three cloves represent God, man, and spirit. Garlic is ruled by Mars, will fight for you against evil. In the morning, bury the garlic.
5 Before going to sleep, dwell upon your “champagne moments”. These are the successes of your day or previous days, weeks, months, and years. Going to sleep with happy thoughts will attract positive dreams.
